Eulogy

Our pieces
Of our hearts,

Where they are,

Will fall into puddles.

Because if we didn’t cry,
Where would our tears for them go?

Mountains could be the symbols,
But pale reflections of them,
Will shake
in ripples,
When we laugh,
In the Serengeti.

Because there is laughter,
Sometimes,
In the Serengeti.

Because there are puddles,
Sometimes,
In the Serengeti.
